CEO
Steve Martin is the CEO of FrictionlessIT, a SaaS company helping Managed Service Providers increase profitability without burning out their employees or clients.
His career has been wonderfully confusing - starting in television production, moving into early days streaming tech, scaling an international nonprofit, working in capital strategy, and now leading a software company. Along the way, he discovered that great businesses aren't built by heroes - they're built by great systems and even better people.
Steve emigrated from the UK to America 27 years ago chasing a girl. He's happy to report she's still his wife, although he's still chasing her. Together they have three adult children, their family now representing 4 nations + Texas (a story for another time).
After spending far too much of his life on airplanes, Steve somehow decided that what he really needed was a garlic hobby farm. He's also considering becoming a licensed skydiver because, apparently, growing garlic isn't quite exciting enough.
Whether he's talking about leadership, operations, or EBITDA, Steve believes the best things in life and business are built by teams who know where they're going... even if their CEO occasionally jumps out of perfectly good airplanes.
