They talk about how IoT is not just about devices, but about systems and making them talk system to system to get more of an outcome from it. Michael gives an example of how IoT can be used in the building space to connect systems for heating and air conditioning, security, lighting, and fire services to determine air conditioning loads that were running about four times the other facilities. Uncle Marv expresses his excitement about learning more about IoT and asks Michael questions to help IT professionals get started with IoT. Michael shares his thesis that IoT should be tied to the network to monitor it and help clients.
